About us
The Sunnyvale Knights are a brand-new Nonprofit 501(c)(3) youth football and cheer program built by South Bay parents, coaches, and neighbors. We started the Knights because kids in our city deserve a local place to learn the game, close to home, with coaches who know focus on their development.
Our program is about more than football. We help kids learn discipline, teamwork, and how to show up for each other, on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
Safety comes first
Coaches complete certified safety and tackling training. We follow strict concussion protocols and limit full contact in practice.
Consistency and Communication
Our home and practice field will be at The King's Academy in Sunnyvale, CA. We communicate schedules, important dates, and necessary information to all parents in advance to help everyone plan accordingly and stay organized
Every kid plays
We develop everyone, not just a starting lineup. Every student-athlete gets real reps and real coaching.
Grades matter
Knights are students first. We check in on school and celebrate effort in the classroom and provide additional assistance where it is needed.
Eligibility awareness
We offer free NCAA eligibility seminars to parents and student athletes who are interested in playing collegiate sports to help them understand what is needed to be academically eligible for an athletic scholarship
Community
Affordable fees, payment plans, family oriented environment and community support help create a great experience for everyone

At the Sunnyvale Knights, our mission goes far beyond the scoreboard. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to developing student-athletes both on the field and in their everyday lives. We believe that youth football and cheer teach invaluable lessons in discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
However, running a safe, high-quality program takes a community. To help our participants thrive, stay active, and play safe, we rely on the generosity of donors like you.
Where Your Contribution Goes:
- Safety Equipment: Getting certified helmets, guardian caps, shoulder pads, and other protective gear to keep every child safe.
- Uniforms & Practice Gear: Equipping our football players and cheerleaders with pride, unity, and the proper gear to practice safely.
- Field Rentals: Securing reliable, consistent and well-maintained practice and game spaces for our teams.
- Development Programs: Hiring tutors and purchasing school equipment for student-athletes in need.
Every donation—big or small—makes a direct impact, ensuring that cost is never a barrier for a child who wants to play, learn, and grow with the Knights.
